Explore the birthplace of Canadian prohibition

Fill your flasks at the hippest watering holes in Owen Sound during the new Corkscrew City Tour being launched this summer by the City of Owen Sound.

The City is partnering with the Beer Bus, Roxy Theatre, local breweries and pubs, museums and others to offer a new immersive experience that will bring to life the days of prohibition a century ago, in what was then known as “Corkscrew Town.”

Tours include dinner, tastings, behind-the-scenes brewery tours and surprises along the way.
